The purpose of this club is to help you build a solid foundation in your new home here in Lake Lure. and develop life long friendships!. The Lake Lure Newcomers Club encourages all members to participate in some of the activities available.

Bi-Monthly Get-Togethers: All members are invitated to attend. These are held at a Host Member's home or at other great places in our area!.

Everyone wears a name tag so that members can get to know one another. Most times liquid refreshments are provided. Each member brings an appetizer or finger dessert. All have a good time! These get-togethers are held in February, April, June, August, October and then in December an Annual Christmas Party
