The Lake Lure Newcomers Club is an exciting group of friendly people who want to meet you.  We are located in the resort community of Lake Lure North Carolina, nestled in the Hickory Nut Gorge area of the western North Carolina mountains.   

        We are glad you are here!

Whatever your interests or schedule, Newcomers has an activity for you!  Many life-long friendships have been formed over a card or craft table or by encouraging a fellow hiker .  Click on the links to your left for information on our growing list of Interest Groups.

The purpose of this organization will be the development of fellowship and acquaintance among new residents to Lake Lure and also for long-time residents to meet new friends.

This organization will be non-profit, non-discriminating, non-partisan, non-sectarian, self-supporting and self-governing. It will not sponsor partisan or political activities.
